[COPY TK] Adele Griffin is a two-time national book award finalist and prolific author of over 30 books for YA and middle grade readers. THE FAVOR is her adult debut and explores themes of friendship, surrogacy, and non-traditional family building. This contemporary novel is Griffin’s most personal project to date as she and her husband built their family through surrogacy in the mid-2000s when there was strong stigma and uncomfortable silence surrounding the topic.
